Aligning green finance innovation with deep green building projects takes another step forward as we launch the Green Homes & Green Mortgage program in the Republic of Moldova. The Moldova Green Building Council hosts an event on 30 June in Chisinau with the support of our #SMARTERfinance for Families project.
The event will be live streamed in Romanian. Green residential investors, developers, building solutions ( materials, technology and services ) providers and others with activity (or planned activity) in Moldova are encouraged to join.
The SMARTER Finance for Families project's international expansion is supported by a research grant from the European Union's #Horizon2020 program. Green Building Councils, Universities and other green expert organizations across Europe are participating in the project. The project is now expanding with new program implementations in Africa, Asia and South America to be launched shortly.

A welcome collaboration for a sustainable future in Poland – truly Green homes stars
The Polish Green Building Council (PLGBC) and the Polish Association of Developers (PZFD) signed a cooperation agreement to promote the first Polish Green Certification for residential buildings, Zielony Dom, developed by PLGBC within the SMARTER Finance for Families project. The common goal of both organisations is the development of a sustainable approach to residential construction. The agreement paves the way for a new chapter for housing construction.
